ABOUT ME

Hi Everyone! I'm Jenn Lance. Thanks for stopping in to learn more about me.  My professional journey started after receiving my Bachelors in Early Childhood Education.  I taught in the Indianapolis Public School System for 6 years. I furthered my education by earning my Masters degree in Counseling and Counselor Education from IUPUI in 2005. After receiving my Masters, I took some time off to be home with my oldest daughter.   I have always been attracted to a private counseling setting and began working as a counselor at Family Tree Counseling Associates. Along with working as a part time counselor for the past 5 years, I am also now a student mentor/advisor in the Teacher's College for Western Governors University. I assist students closely on their journey to earning a bachelors degree in Early Childhood Education. I feel like I have come full circle. I am not sure what the next step will be for me professionally.  I have an itch to start my own business and allow my creativity to guide where I go with my counseling. We will see! But first, I need to renew my School Counseling License which is why I am here.
